Viviana is a wonderful, gracious and accommodating hostess. She worked with our schedule as we were only available for a few hours. We started with a fun salsa dance lesson, moved on to a wonderful mom n pop restaurant to try una frita cubana and a delicious sugar cane drink guarapo, which was fun to watch them make! From there we heard the neighborhood history and what is happening now. We really enjoyed the cafe cubano and the guava pastry! To top it all off, we ended at a cigar shop, the Cuban museo and enjoyed a monitor. The kids had a virgin mojito! My sister, daughters (ages 10 & 11) and I all had a great time. The kids LOVED the tour and want to come do it again the next time we’re in town!! The only problem was the tour was too short!

We were staying at the Trump Doral and looking for something unique to do and the concierge recommended Vivanne and Miami Tours Little Havana tour. Tour was a big hit! Private Salsa lesson with Vivanne, Cuban burgers and Hatuey beers at El Rey De Las Fritas, coffee and pastry at La Colada Gourmet Coffee, Cigars and Mojitos at Guantnamera Cigars, stops at Tower Theater, Maximo Gomez park and Cuba Ocho Museum & Performing Arts Center. Ended the tour (and the night!) at the Ball & Chain for more mojito's and salsa dancing! Can't imagine a better way to experience all that Little Havana has to offer than a tour with Vivanne! If you only have time for one thing to do in Miami, this would be at the top of the list! We've done walking tours wherever we visit, Vivanne knocks it out of the park!

Vivianne is amazing! Not only were we able to learn a little bit of salsa, but she took us out in Little Havana to have a cultural/artistic experience. It was great to know the history of the area and the food/beer was fantastic. My favorite part was Ball and Chain though- it felt a little bit like we were in a movie because there were such talented salsa dancers everywhere you looked. Everyone was friendly and I enjoyed being able to experience a small taste of the salsa community. If you want to experience Miami in a non-touristy way, you HAVE to do this tour!

Take a trip back to a time when things were just simpler. Layback, relax, and let the history of the Little Havana neighborhood engulf you with its art and culture. The area, also known as Calle Ocho is a full on Cuban enclave.
